Asst. Prof. M. Mustafa Cetin leading the SOPR Lab at KHAS, İstanbul, Türkiye, and his colleague Asst. Prof. Hao Li from Zhejiang University and ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Center, Hangzhou, China have currently published an article at ACS Org. Lett. on Dec 2nd, 2022.
In this work, Dr. Cetin, Dr. Li and their colleagues have synthesized a prism-shaped cage-type molecule (pictured) using a Lewis-acid-catalyzed Friedel–Crafts reaction.
